Former Hollyoaks star Twinnie Lee-Moore revealed on Monday that she has been crying all night after her boyfriend split up with her. The 39-year-old actor and singer shared the news in an emotional TikTok video while wearing a baggy blue T-shirt.

She explained that her music career as a country artist put a strain on their relationship due to her regular travelling. She said: "I'm sorry if I look like s***, I've been crying all night because my boyfriend split up with me last night."

Twinnie added: "[He's] Not a bad guy… I'm a music artist, we're always away from each other, we found the distance incredibly hard and it's making him unhappy and I don't want to make him unhappy."

Chart success with Wild One
The singer revealed that her single Wild One reached number four on the iTunes Country chart, which left her close to tears. She said: "I did wake up this morning after having no sleep, to find out my single is number four... It's in the charts…which is awesome."

Twinnie continued: "If you want to help me run it up the charts, maybe we can get top three, so this is the song, so you know it's not s***." She then played a snippet of the tune as she began to tear up while dancing.
Alongside the post, she penned: "God works in mysterious ways I guess. Anyway, if you like the song purchase it on iTunes that will help run it up the charts. I’m ok just kind of sad but I promise we are not going to be going back into heartbreak era!! We’re gonna keep on dancing!!"
Acting career on Emmerdale and Hollyoaks
The announcement comes after Twinnie joined the cast of Emmerdale in October 2024 to play the ambitious and ruthless boxing promoter Jade. The country-pop singer gushed that she has had "so much fun" on set after swapping Nashville for the Yorkshire village.
She said: "My life has been a bit crazy recently juggling music and acting with lots of back and forth between Nashville and Yorkshire but I’ve been loving it!!" She added: "I’ve loved being back on screen, especially as the show is shot in Yorkshire, being able to be home with family and go to work on such an iconic show has been nothing short of amazing! The whole team has been so welcoming and really supportive. My character is so much fun to play and I can’t wait to see how the audience reacts to her."
Twinnie previously played Nikki Allcott in Doctors, which aired on BBC One in 2013, before joining Hollyoaks as Porsche McQueen in 2014. Her character in Hollyoaks highlighted the issues of sexual abuse in children, while her other storylines included a failed marriage when her husband had various affairs.
She left Hollyoaks in October 2015, with her exit scenes airing on Christmas Eve that year. For her role as Porsche McQueen, she was nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Newcomer and an Inside Soap Award.
