Bruce Willis, aged 67, suffered worsening aphasia, diagnosed last year. This Thursday, the 16th, the actor was indicated with frontotemporal dementia. In an Instagram post, his wife Emma Heming Willis recalls the previous diagnosis of aphasia and thanks for the messages of support.
“We wanted to give an update on our beloved husband, father and friend as we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing. Since we announced Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis, his condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis. : frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

Unfortunately, communication challenges are just one symptom of the illness that Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
