Jeremy Strong is a method actor and only wears Kendall’s clothes when filming Succession

Apparently, the main actors of Succession, interpreters of characters who are related, are not that close behind the scenes. Although, Jeremy Strong (Kendall Roy) defended Brian Cox (Logan Roy), responsible for criticizing his method of acting, after controversy.

During an interview with QA that turned into a big profile, Strong was asked about an interview by coxwhen he became controversial when criticizing the method, a style in which actors embody the characters even with the cameras off.

“Everyone has the right to their feelings and opinions,” stated the actor in the conversation. “I also think Brian Cox, for example, has already earned the right to say whatever the hell he wants. No more need to comment on what he said or try to do damage control later.”

I feel a lot of love for my brothers and parents on the show, and it’s family in the sense that, and I’m sure they would do the same, you don’t have to like the people you love, and I always respect them.

“Am I going to adjust or compromise something that I’ve worked on my whole life and what I believe in? I have no doubts about the answer,” he continued. “I will continue to do whatever it takes to deliver whatever it is.”

What did Brian Cox say about Jeremy Strong’s method acting?

76-year-old Scottish actor, Brian Cox talked about method of acting Jeremy Strong on two occasions. In an interview with Town&Countrythe artist criticized the way in which the co-star works, but recognized his talent.

“He’s a great actor. And the rest of the cast is fine with that. But knowing a character and what he does is just part of the skill set,” he said. “He’s still that guy because he feels that if he went anywhere else, he would lose control. But he won’t!”

Strong is talented. He is gifted. When you have the gift, celebrate the gift. Go back to your trailer and hit the weed, you know?

In another profile of New Yorker, Brian Cox also addressed the method. “It’s a particularly American disease, I think, this inability to separate while you’re doing work.” In addition, on another occasion, the actor opined how “there is a certain pain at the root of jeremyand I just feel for this pain.”

Brian Cox don’t know each other very well

Returning to the profile of QA in Jeremy Strong, the actor was approached about the existence of “pain in the root” of him. “You know, I don’t think so. I don’t think so. There’s certainly a lot of pain in Kendalland I really didn’t know Brian outside the bounds of that,” he replied.

However, this controversy with Brian Cox did not affect the work of Strong. “Am I going to adjust or compromise the way I’ve worked my whole life and what I believe in? There wasn’t a shred of doubt about that,” explained the interpreter of Kendall Roy.

I will still do whatever it takes to serve whatever. Which is not to say that this is the same thing as stepping over other people. It has to do with autonomous concentration. It’s a very lonely thing. I think there’s very little impact on others except for what they might want to project and how that might make them feel.
