Tony Awards: Watch the nominations live

The 2022 Tony Awards nominations will be streamed live on YouTube on Monday morning.

Tony winner Adrienne Warren and three-time Tony nominee Joshua Henry will announce the top nominations for the 2021-2022 Broadway season at 9 am ET / 6 pm PT.

The nominations were delayed for nearly a week, with the power award extended to May 4, “due to the challenges Broadway has faced in recent weeks and the effort to allow nominees to see shows relevant to Tony.” The award-winning presenters said in a statement to The Broadway League and the American Theater Wing.

The delay came after Tony qualified for the show with celebrities like MacbethDaniel Craig and Plaza SuitesSarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick both tested positive for COVID-19, causing the performances to be cancelled.

The 2021-2022 season is the first since Broadway scenes went murky more than a year after the COVID pandemic began. With the theater closed, it took more than a year for the Tony Awards to hand out the awards for the 2019-2020 season, which were finally handed out at the Winter Garden Theater in September 2021, shortly after theaters opened.

Oscar winner and Tony nominee Ariana Debows will host this year’s 75th Tony Awards, returning to her usual home at Radio City Music Hall in New York for a ceremony on Sunday, June 12. The program goes on air. Live from Beach to Coast as a four-hour presentation that splits the streaming service between Paramount+ and CBS. For the first hour at 7pm ET / 4pm PT, the content stream will be exclusive to Paramount+ only. The awards will continue at 8pm ET/5pm PT live on CBS and live on demand on Paramount+.
