On Netflix, season 6 of Cobra Kai is expected to premiere in 2023
Several fans of Cobra Kai were taken by surprise with the announcement that said how the series, produced by Netflix, will end in the sixth season. The platform is famous for canceling several productions, regardless of popularity or quality, but the company has nothing to do with the end of the derivative of Karate Kid – The Moment of Truthclassic film from the 1980s.
Published in twitter in response to a fan, Jon Hurwitzscreenwriter and producer of the series starring William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence), revealed his reaction to the end of Cobra Kai in the sixth year, which should debut on streaming in 2023.
“Netflix didn’t tell us it was the last season. We told them it was the last season. We always wanted to end Cobra Kai on our own terms and we are grateful to have the opportunity to do so,” wrote the executive on the social network. “But, this does not mean that we are done with the Miyagiverse. We love this world.”
