After his amazing appearance in the series Boba Fett’s bookDin Djarin (Pedro Pascal) is back in the third season of The Mandalorian. Jon Favreau is back in production of this new season that will take the famous Mando and little Grogu through new galactic adventures. As usual, this 17th chapter reserved for fans of the universe Star Wars Some Easter eggs Welcome. so here it is the references which should not be missing in the opening of this season 3.
The return of Bo-Katan Kryze
This 17th chapter concludes with the remarkable appearance of Bo Katan Kryze. Central character of the second season, Bo-Katan Kryze is an iconic Mandalorian of the universe Star Wars. Introduced in the series Star wars the battle of the clones, remains one of the leading figures of the Mandalorian people. Throughout your long career, you have led the Mandalorian people in the face of many threats. In particular, she participated in the Clone Wars and Civil War.
Heir to the Duchess of Mandalore, he therefore secluded himself in his castle Kalevala, biding his time before returning to work. A reference to Star Wars: Rebels ?
During a short (and beautiful) sequence, Grogu witnesses an astonishing demonstration. While Din Djarin and Grogu are in their ship, in hyperspace, the little creature watches a group of Purrgil. These beautiful animals, which look like whales, have been seen in the series Star Wars: Rebels. They notably appear in the latest episode of the Dave Filoni show, whenEzra Bridger sacrifices himself in the final battle, to take Admiral Thrawn’s fleet with him.
In addition to being a Easter eggs welcome, this aspect is obviously a teaser for the return ofEzra Bridgerexpected in the series Ahsokaas the young Eman Esfandi.
We know what happened to Cara Dune
Following his polemical and anti-Semitic commentsactress Gina Carano was removed from the universe Star Wars after the second season of The Mandalorian. She who embodied the rebel Dear Dune. So we wondered what LucasFilm would have in store for his character. Season 3 of The Mandalorian just provided part of the answer. A familiar bestiary
One of the qualities of the series The Mandalorian, is his ability to bring various creatures into the foreground, known or unknown, often by means of animatronics. In this 17th chapter, fans can thus crossbreed with different members of the species of salaciousthe horrible little monster that accompanies Jabba Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
In this same episode, Grogu and Din Djarin meet several of them Anzellani. These little creatures specializing in droid repairs have already appeared in postlogy with Babu Frik.
Who is Gorian Shard?
Created for this season 3’s needs The Mandalorian, Gorian Shard is introduced as the pirate king. With her face made of seaweed, she resembles a mix between The Swamp Thing and Davy Jones. Gorian Shard is expected to be a recurring character in this third season. Played by comedian Nonso Anozie, he goes after our dear Mando after the latter kills several of his men in the city of Nevarro City.
Still, that’s a good thing The Mandalorian features new space pirates. Because we can hope that this is one more step before the introduction of the famous Hondo Ohnaka live version.
