Rapper Guna was arrested in an Atlanta prison on Wednesday on racketeering charges after being charged along with fellow rapper Young Tug and more than two dozen others.
An indictment filed in the Fulton District Supreme Court on Monday accuses Guna, whose name is Sergio Kitchens, of violating Georgia’s organized crime law. It remains unclear whether he had a lawyer who could comment on the allegations.
The indictment alleges that Young Thug founded a violent street gang that committed murders, shootings and carjackings for nearly a decade and promoted their activities in music and on social media.
It includes an extensive list of 181 acts that prosecutors say have been committed since 2013 as part of an alleged organized crime plot to bolster gang interests.
