It seemed impossible, but he did it. Just days after leaving the hospital, Chano returned to the stage to meet his fans again.
It was in the city of La Plata, and he did it in style: with a sold-out stadium, in front of more than 4,000 fans who never stopped singing his hits and giving him an ovation.
With pure emotion, the singer reviewed the hits of Tan Biónica and his solo scene. And he also mentioned his state of health.
“You know when something happens to me, I take matters into my own hands, I tell the truth and I do what needs to be done,” he explained. “I was intubated, with a tube that they put down your throat so you could breathe, and at some point, instinctively, a lot of people who wake up from being in a coma, ripped it out. I ripped it off and hurt my voice strings. To be able to sing today, I had to get two shots.”
And he added: “The first thing I did when I woke up was ask for a phone, call my manager and tell him that the only thing that will make me feel good right now is to not to cancel the La Plata shows.”
And that’s the feeling he left.
Tired but happy, Chano sang and danced as if nothing had happened. And left everyone with huge smiles on their faces.
