Long before the love story between Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon (Regé-Jean Page), long before the love story between Kate (Simone Ashley) and Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), there was the marriage between Charlotte and King George.
After the success of the first two seasons of The Bridgerton ChronicleShonda Rhimes and Netflix continue to do thisexpand the universe created by writer Julia Quinn on the small screen. Prequels to the series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Chapter tells about the accession to the throne of the ruler embodied by Golda Rosheuvel.
The actress is also in the cast of this program which navigates between the past and the present. She notably reveals how she got close to her loyal confidante Agatha Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) and reveals her somewhat complicated early exchanges with her private secretary Brimsley (Hugh Sachs). Arsema Thomas and Sam Clemmett play these two characters from their youth, who gradually become central to the Queen’s daily life.

India Amarteifio lends her features to Charlotte, who is having a hard time getting used to her new life. Then comes the meeting with George (Corey Mylchreest) in the palace gardens, then their union and their first antics. Events highlighted in the trailer which adopts a romantic tone, before letting the mystery hover around the king.

Charlotte is expected to discover important secrets about her husband, which will seem to upset their marriage. As her interpreter Golda Rosheuvel says, Charlotte’s life ‘as queen was difficult’. Processes that apparently will take place immediately after his coronation.
