J Mena presented his third album: “Bad Blood”

After three years of introspection and studio work, J Mena presented his third album: “Mala Sangre”.

It is a visual album, a complete film consisting of 12 chapters, which functions as a “family constellation”. In the clips, J Mena will expose herself and confront emotionally intense events and unresolved conflicts, with the aim of being able to free herself from them and thus be able to lead a healthier and more harmonious life.

THE 12 videos were directed by Tom Abramzon, produced by Bunker, and shot in San Emilio, a city where the artist keeps the most beautiful memories since the house of his grandmother Bety and his great-grandmother Beba was there, where he spent several summers and unique moments of his childhood with his family.

For seven days, J Mena and a team of over 40 stayed with neighbors, who opened doors for them, welcomed them with open arms and even participated in some of the videos.

To perform “Bad Blood”, the singer has joined great musicians like Guillermo Salort from Conociendo Rusia (drums), stage jazzmen like Christian Terán (trumpet player), Ramiro Flores (saxophonist), Pepe Céspedes from La Bersuit (bassist and guitarist) and Javier Casalla de Bajofondo (violinist). During production, she is accompanied by Mauro De Tommaso, Juan Blas Caballero, Lucas Arbe and Nano Napoli.
