Drag queen Jinkx Monsoon is confirmed in new episodes of British drama that premiere in November

jinkx monsoonin RuPaul’s Drag Raceis confirmed in the next season of Doctor Who. According to BBCthe television fiction returns for its 60th year in November 2023, with three special episodes, and the drag queen, winner of two seasons of the RuPaulwill play an important role in the plot.

“In a galaxy of comets and supernovae, here comes the biggest burrow star. Jinkx Monsoon is on a collision course with the TARDIS and Doctor Who will never be the same”, said the showrunner of Doctor Who, Russell T Davies.

Doctor Who is one of the longest-running programs in television history, having debuted in 1963. It is a science fiction series that tells the story of an alien who travels in a time machine – the TARDIS. Over the years, 14 people have played the Doctor, including David Tennant, current interpreter. From the announced episodes, who assumes the position is the actor Ncuti Gatwa.

Jinkx Monsoon, played by Jerick Hoffer, was the winning drag queen of the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Racein 2013. In 2022 she would return to competition, this time in a season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars only with former franchise winners, from which she would emerge, again, winner. A BBCshe declared:
