James Corden is TV’s ‘most unpleasant and difficult presenter’, says director Craig Duncan denounced James Corden’s toxic behavior on set of A League of Their Own today at 11:08

Craig Duncan denounced James Corden’s toxic behavior in filming of the series A League of Their Own

TV director who worked with James Corden, Craig Duncan stated how the presenter is the “most difficult and unpleasant” he has collaborated with in the industry. They were colleagues on the comedy series A League of Their Ownwhich ran for 17 seasons.

During an interview with the YouTube channel fludded, Duncan told how he was commissioned to direct corden and other actors for an episode of the series, in which he had to film a challenge in the style Masterchef.

“The most difficult and unpleasant presenter I have ever worked with was James Corden. I was asked by his producer [se] I would be willing to run a challenge that would be part of the program A League of Their Own,” stated the filmmaker. “It was season seven, episode three, and I’ll never forget it.”

They said, ‘How are you working with difficult presenters?’ Well, I already filmed the The Three Tenors before, and you can’t get a better prima donna than an opera singer.’

Furthermore, Craig Duncan explained how he was invited to come in and watch a rehearsal of the series to familiarize himself with the style of James Corden. “It got to the point where he had to read a card,” she recalled. “[Houve] kind of a joke there, and he just looked at it and said, ‘That’s not funny, that’s not funny. It’s a shit. We need to rewrite this.'”

With that comment, the director complied with the changes, but he noted a tense atmosphere on set and spoke of how the production team only had five minutes to make the given changes. “We were working on it. When old shit pipes show up.”

James Corden said, ‘What the fuck is going on here? It’s obvious what you do. It’s so obvious how you film it, you’re stupid.’ And I’m like, ‘He’s absolutely right, guys, let’s do this, it’s the best thing to do… we know what we’re doing, right?
