Peacock has released the first images of the upcoming “re-imagining” of creator Russell T. Davis’ groundbreaking drama. Strange how people.

Creator Stephen Dunn’s The Peacock Incarnation marks the third iteration of the LGBTQ community drama and follows the British original Davis (1999-2000) and the Showcase incarnation, which aired in 2000-2005.

While earlier filming took place in Manchester, England and Pittsburgh, the Peacock series is set in New Orleans and uses a nightclub-style shootout at the gay bar as a jumping-off point to explore how the city’s LGBTQ community has been revived.
