2 morning habits that prevent you from losing weight: they wake up a brutal appetite and disrupt the metabolism

Morning is the best time to activate the body and improve metabolism. However, sometimes instead of speeding up the metabolism, we slow it down. This is due to these common errors.

Weight loss success directly depends on how you start your day. And no, this does not mean that immediately after waking up you need to actively train or eat exclusively healthy foods.

In the morning you can afford much more than in the afternoon, and even more before going to bed. But too strong restrictions in the first hours after waking up negatively affect the metabolism and slow down the process of shedding excess weight.

Check how much water you drink in the morning

The day should start with a glass, or better two, of warm water. This is the main rule that no one should forget. It’s especially important to drink plenty of water in the morning if you prefer to drink a cup of coffee for breakfast.

“Water is essential for every reaction that occurs in our body. If we don’t drink enough water throughout the day, from the moment we wake up, the detoxification processes in the kidneys and liver slow down. In addition, lack of water in the morning can affect the production of digestive enzymes and even cause a false feeling of satiety from an exceptionally modest breakfast. But soon you’ll really want to eat, and the risk of getting into harmful fast foods increases,” says dietician Emily Tills.

Don’t torture yourself with a mediocre breakfast

Even if you’re trying to lose weight, breakfast doesn’t have to be modest and low in calories. Your body needs calories anyway! And it’s much better if you use them in the morning, and don’t let go in the evening.

Ideally, breakfast should consist of high-protein dishes – eggs, cottage cheese, cheese, lean meat. In this case, you will not feel like eating soon. Accompany it with vegetables and a small portion of complex carbohydrates, such as a few slices of whole-grain bread or a plate of dessert cereal. It will turn out delicious, satisfying and very useful!
