Joshua Jackson and EternalLauren Ridloff will star in the romantic drama Ava DuVernay, set at Starz.
The network gave the untitled project a three-season script for the series, meaning that in the event of the green light, all 18 half-hour episodes (six per season) will air. Ridloff and Jackson, who have played together on Broadway. Doverney will oversee the writing of the show through his content company Array Filmworks, which will be produced by Warner Bros. Television, with which he has a common agreement. Original programming for Starz’s Senior Vice President will be overseen by Kathryn Tyus-Adair on behalf of the network.
