How much cocoa must chocolate contain to be considered healthy: everyone should know this number

Chocolate is one of the few candies that is good for youth and the figure. But, as you have understood, we are talking about a quality version of the dessert: it must contain at least this percentage of cocoa.

Cocoa is a precious product that centuries ago was not considered a dessert, but a powerful drug. Cocoa butter and beans contain a whole range of vitamins and antioxidants that have a pronounced effect on beauty and health. That is why it is recommended to eat chocolate even during weight loss or, for example, to maintain balance during menopause.

But, unfortunately, not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance. White and milk chocolate are automatically eliminated from the list of healthy desserts – because they contain too little cocoa.

Experts believe that every day you can eat only chocolate with a content of cocoa products of 68% or more.

Most often, this composition is found in dark chocolate. However, options with raisins, nuts, fruits and other additives can also be found. Especially considering that such sweetness can be consumed regularly, without fear of gaining weight or gaining “sugar bloats” and acne.
