Insidious 5: continuation and end of the horrible saga
After four films, the last of which was released in 2018, the horror saga Insidious is coming out with a final chapter called The Red Door. Expected in French cinemas onwards next July 5this revealed through a very disturbing first trailer.
The story takes place ten years after the fourth film. Dalton Lambert (Ty Simpkins) prepares to enter university, to the delight of his parents (again played by Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne). But their joy is short-lived when the demons of their past reappear to torment them.
Dalton and his father will then have to return to the “far”, the world of darkness, to face their nightmares and discover more demons behind the red door. Lin Shaye will also return as Elise Rainier, once again helming Dalton. in the distance through flashbacks.
In addition to playing the role of Josh Lambert, Patrick Wilson also serves as director because of this Insidious 5. This is your first time directing a feature film. She said in 2020:
I am honored and excited to take the reins on the next installment of Insidious, which will provide an incredible opportunity to unravel everything the Lamberts went through a decade ago, as well as face the consequences of their choices.
