FUBAR : Arnold Schwarzenegger in his first series
After putting his political career on hold, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to film has proved quite complicated. The star failed to revive the saga terminator and has participated in lukewarm or even completely superfluous feature films, including The last bastion, Leak OR Sabotage.

The legendary interpreter of the T-800 and Conan the Barbarian is now trying his luck on the small screen. In FUBAR (military acronym for “Fucked up beyond all recognition”, or “messed up to the point of no longer being identifiable”), Netflix series, the actor lends his likeness to Luke Brunner, a CIA agent about to retire. But he has no choice but to embark on one last personal mission before taking it easy…
A beefy family affair
When he discovers that his daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro) also works in the American intelligence agency, Luke realizes that they have been lying to each other for years. Charged with Emma’s exfiltration, he finds himself at the center of explosive new adventures and discovers her daughter’s talents. Saving the world from a nuclear threatthey will live their most beautiful adventure and get to know each other better.

Jay Baruchel, Fabiana Udenio, Fortune Feimster, Adam Pally, Aparna Brielle and Gabriel Luna complete the cast of this programme, whose synopsis obviously recalls that of Outright lies. Supervised by Nick Santora, showrunner From The most dangerous game AND Reachthe series consists of eight episodes. FUBAR will be available on Netflix from May 25, 2023.
