Dunes 2 will resume immediately after the end of the first part
After the acclaimed release of Dunes, fans of the universe created by Frank Herbert are eagerly awaiting the sequel to the film by Denis Villeneuve. The storyline of this one will pick up right after the end of the first part. We will be following Paul Atreides ashe is planning his revenge against those responsible for the destruction of his family. But will have to make a choice between his love for Chani and the fate of the known universe.
Denis Villeneuve brought back most of the lead actors from the first film to Dune: second part. We will therefore find there notably Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson or even Zendaya. But several other famous actors joined the cast for this second part. Including Florence Pugh, Austin Butler and Léa Seydoux. And their characters are revealed in the first photos of the film.

Vanity Fair just published the first shots of Dunes 2. They feature some of the main protagonists featured in the first film. Namely Paul, Chani, Gurney Halleck, Baron Harkonnen, Glossu Rabban, Lady Jessica and Stilgar. But let’s also find out Princess Irulan Corrino, Feyd-Rautha and Lady Margot. Consider the characters played by Pugh, Butler and Seydoux (presentation below).
We are now waiting to discover the first trailer of Dunes 2. Spectators present at CinemaCon in Las Vegas have already been able to see it there is little. According to the Twitter account Leaks on the big screen, Warner Bros is expected to reveal this to the public soon. We may then have the opportunity to see the new characters in action.
See you in theaters in November
Regardless of the trailer release date of Dunes 2, we will still have to wait several months before being able to discover Denis Villeneuve’s feature film. This will come out 1um next november in French cinemas. Recall that there will not be a third film, since the Canadian director has imagined his adaptation of the novel by Frank Herbert in two parts.
