Malena Villa presents “You were”, a preview of the album that will be released in the middle of this year.
The song, produced by Renzo Luca and composed by her, shows her new pop side, with a powerful sound loaded with guitars and attitude.
In the first person, Malena explains the concept of this latest release: “Fuiste seems to be talking to someone else, but in reality I’m talking to myself.”
And he adds:I wrote it thinking of all the things someone who loved me and where I came from could say to me. I think that’s me talking to myself about the many struggles I may have with opening up and connecting.”
On May 31, moreover, Malena will perform for the first time at the Vorterix Theater from the city of Buenos Aires, where he will share with the public this release and some other previews of the new album. The entrees? On sale now.
This new work by the composer is added to the first album “La Negación” in 2020 and to her two EPs “Ni tan bien” and “Ni tan mal” in 2021. During 2022, the Argentine actress and singer participated in festivals Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound, Quilmes Rock, Cosquín Rock in Cordoba and Harlem Fest in Santa Fe.
