The most dangerous food for lunch – many people eat it every day

We talk a lot about what is good to eat in the morning and in the evening. However, during the day you also need to avoid certain foods – so as not to be hungry and not gain weight.

It is generally accepted that at lunchtime you can treat yourself to a much wider range of products than at breakfast or dinner. Indeed, in the afternoon there is a much greater chance to burn all the calories consumed – therefore, nutritionists do not prohibit eating sweets after dinner.

Moreover, during the lunch break we have very little free time. I want to eat something quick and doesn’t require extra hassle with cooking. That’s why many people choose sandwiches, in all their diversity: sandwiches, burgers and toast.

Sandwiches are perfect for a quick, almost on-the-go snack. Their fillings literally scream health and benefits. But in fact, the sandwiches are not as high in protein and healthy fats as they first appear – after all, an extremely limited amount of vegetables, cheese, eggs, meat or fish is placed on a slice of bread.

But such a lunch contains a lot of carbohydrates, on the contrary, even if the sandwich is baked on wholemeal bread. About white bread, and so everything is clear: these are just empty calories.

Sometimes, in terms of calorie and carb counts, sandwiches even bypass desserts. At the same time, you are unlikely to stay full until the evening after a sandwich for lunch – and soon you will want to have a snack. And not the fact that something more useful!

Of course, once in a while you can have your favorite sandwich or burger for lunch – after all, food should be fun! But try to complement this meal with a fresh salad of greens and vegetables, if desired, you can add a little more cheese. So lunch will be healthier – and much more satisfying.
