Halfway through Better Call Saul Season 6, War Between Gus and Lalo Converged With Jimmy and Kim

Peter Gouldshowrunner and one of the creators of Better Call Saulrevealed what to expect from the war between Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) in the second half of the show’s 6th season. In parallel, Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) advance to ruin the career of Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) in law – and force an early settlement in the case sandpiper.
Furthermore, Gus Fring tries to clean up the mess after a failed assassination attempt on Lalo and patiently prepares for his return to New Mexico. In “Plan and Execution,” seventh episode of the sixth season of the spin-off of breaking badthe two nuclei finally converged.
At the beginning of the episode, Lalo returned to Albuquerque, and I lurk in the sewers to watch the laundry room. Guswhere the drug lord builds a giant meth lab. Lalo Salamanca realizes how the phone was tapped by Gus Fringand sends a smoke signal to indicate an attack that night.
However, the character returned to “Plan A” instead. While Howard was in confrontation with Jimmy and Kim in the couple’s apartment about the settlement hearing sandpiper, Lalo arrives by surprise and almost immediately shoots Howard before talking to lawyers.
How will this unfold?
In an interview with EW, Peter Gould commented on this moment and the future of these characters. “I don’t want to reveal anything, because you’ll learn a lot more in the next episodes. But Lalo was clearly surprised that Mike (Jonathan Banks) wait for him in the laundry room,” said the executive. “He had no idea how well defended the laundry room was.”
“[Lalo] is at a disadvantage. He now realised: ‘They wait for me. They know I’m still alive somehow,'” continued. he knows that Gus Fring you know, and Gus Fring doesn’t know that he knows. There’s a whole level of 4D chess going on.”
