Alicia Debnam-Kerry leaves ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ after 7 seasons

After seven seasons on AMC Be afraid of the undead! Actress Alicia Debnam-Kerry, a member of the original cast, has left the series.

Debina-Kerry played Alicia Clark on the show, which debuted in 2015 as a prequel. Living Dead. On Sunday night on the show, his character struggled after being bitten by a zombie. After successfully battling a sky fever that forces her to turn into a zombie, Alicia decides to help others.

Coincidentally, Debnam-Kerry’s on-screen mother, played by Kim Dickens, was supposed to return in the second half of this season after leaving the show in its fourth season. The original showman left most of the original series regular cast behind for years.

Debna-Kerry confirmed her departure, which began after joining the upcoming Hulu series. Holy X, On Instagram, he noted that Sunday’s episode “marks the end of Alicia Clarke’s unusual and transformative journey”.

He added: “I was 21 when we started this crazy journey, but now at 28, after 7 years and 100 episodes, I decided it was time to move on as an actor and as a person. Just like the nature of our work, I needed to look for new challenges, new opportunities and discover a new chapter for myself. I was very lucky to have been a part of something so amazing for so long, but I hope you understand and respect my choices for further expansion and growth. I wouldn’t be here without you all and I’m so grateful. ”

The actor, who also starred in one of the series’ episodes this season, wrote that leaving the show was “bitter, but it’s about time.”
