This is a time when the Empire is probably at its peak, and therefore life for many in the galaxy is quite bleak. However, the rebellion is active at this point, and Andor will show how Cassian Andor joined the rebellion and began to fight against this oppressive regime.
Interestingly, Cassian Andor doesn’t have much screen time in this first trailer, but there’s a nice shot of him near the end hijacking a TIE Fighter. Instead, this trailer takes the approach of throwing many different types of shots to give a good idea of the vibe of this show. There is a lot to remember, the stormtroopers wear Revenge of the Sith-was a suit of armor for what looks like a throwback corruscante, at a time when the Senate was still active within the Empire. Specific plot rhythms are still being kept under wraps, but if you were expecting a Star Wars show following the Rebellion in their period of outsiders fighting the Empire, Andor is the sight to behold.
It has already been confirmed Andor It will air for two seasons. Following the conclusion of Season 1, Disney + subscribers will reunite with Cassian Andor in Season 2 about a year after what happened in that first season. The events of the second season will lead to what happened delinquentthat is, Cassian teams up with Jyn Erso and others to steal the plans for the first Death Star. Until Andor Season 1 will also meet characters like Genevieve O’Reilly’s Mon Mothma and Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera, and the Andor The cast also includes unnamed characters played by Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. The show was developed by Tony Gilroy, who co-wrote delinquentadding scenes like the massacre in the Darth Vader corridor.
