Marvel’s She-Hulk trailer shows Tatiana Maslany in all her green glory, plus Mark Ruffalo

According to your time orphan Black and the first season of HBO perry bricklayer, Tatiana Maslany is entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actress plays Jennifer Walters on Disney + she-hulk series, which is now officially titled She-Hulk: lawyer, and today the first trailer for the show was finally released. Check out the video above to see Maslany’s Jennifer in all her green glory, plus some of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner / Hulk in action.

Between her burgeoning career as a lawyer (most notably, she was cast to be the face of a superhuman legal division) and her great friends, you’d think Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters is living a good life. Well, sure, but just like her comic book counterpart, she too transforms into a super strong green figure with anger issues. It’s unclear if this version of Jennifer will become She-Hulk after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner like in the comics, but she’ll need Bruce’s help to navigate this new … independent aspect of her. .

In addition to being Tatiana Maslany’s first MCU, She-Hulk: lawyer marks Bruce Banner’s first appearance in his Smart Hulk form since then ending of the Avengers. However, we have seen Bruce in his human form Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten ringsin the middle of the credits, and after watching this trailer multiple times, Bruce’s arm doesn’t seem to have the damage it took when he used the Infinity Stones in End of the game. So either the she-hulk the series takes place before the fourth Avengers movie, in which Bruce’s arm managed to heal, even though fans had already been told the injury was permanent.

Another person who appears in the first She-Hulk: lawyer The trailer is Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky, aka Abomination. We also saw it briefly in Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings in his monstrous (and more comical) form, but this preview also shows Blonsky in his human form. Since the comic version of Blonsky is usually stuck in his Abomination form, we’ll have to wait and see if Roth’s Blonsky can switch between forms or if there’s some sort of energy damper in his prison cell. which forces you to make him a human again. Sure, the trailer shows a quick glimpse of Blonsky’s abomination in said cell, but perhaps the energy damper has stopped working.

These are just some of the highlights of the She-Hulk: lawyer trailer, with other things including a quick look at Jameela Jamil’s Titania and the mysterious Frogman, a look at Jennifer Walters’ love life as She-Hulk, and a dismantling at Batman, getting out of being a superhero is for billionaires, narcissists and orphaned adults “for whatever reason”. In addition to this trailer, Disney + (opens in a new tab) it also left a good look She-Hulk: lawyer is displayed, as shown below.

It consists of nine episodes, She-Hulk: lawyer will premiere to Disney + subscribers on August 17, and in addition to the aforementioned actors and Benedict Wong reprising Wong, the cast includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Kat Coiro and Anu Valia directed the episodes and Jessica Gao was the lead writer.
