Harrison Ford played Rick Deckard in Blade Runner (1982), but was bothered by the narration

As Deputy reported (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet), the actor was not so convinced when the director approached him to talk about blade runner. “I remember when they finally showed me the script, I was very worried about the narrative,” she said. “There was actually a voiceover in the original script, and I felt like I was telling the audience things that could easily be discovered in the context of the scenes.”
“When we started filming, it was tacitly agreed that the version of the film we had agreed upon was the version without voice-over narration,” he continued. Harrison Ford. “It was a nightmare. I thought the movie worked without the narration. But now I was stuck recreating that narration. And I was forced to do voice-overs for people who didn’t represent the director’s interests.”
