Productions such as The Idol and Killers of the Flower Moon were one of the highlights of the event
One of the main film events in the world, Cannes Film Festival took place in 2023 and featured several releases that promise to be something to talk about, such as the series The Idol and the next movie Martin Scorseseentitled Killers of the Flower Moon. As usual, some of these productions were applauded for a few minutes.
However, it is worth remembering how this happens because it is a festival custom – sometimes it does not match the quality of the final product. For example, the first reviews detonated The Idol, which had five minutes of applause. Already Killers of the Flower Moon was praised by the vast majority of critics and applauded for nine minutes in Cannes.
Below, see how the productions exhibited in Cannes 2023 were received by the public of the screenings, both series and films:

“The itinerary of a convention Junior Stargazer is spectacularly interrupted by world-changing events.”
Jeanne du Barry: 7 minutes
“The life of Jeanne Bécuwho was born the illegitimate daughter of an impoverished seamstress in 1743 and rose at the court of Louis XV to become his last official mistress.”
