And Just Like That Season 2: Samantha Returns
While they played very close friends in the series (and movies) Sex and the city, actresses Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) and Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) had a falling out after the second film. In fact, she the latter would not accept a third film due to the character’s treatment of her. This refusal would have led the two actresses not to speak to each other anymoreit’s at attack through the media. So it’s no surprise that Kim Cattrall didn’t return in the first season of the spinoff series. That’s it… aired last winter. Or not at all.
Indeed, if you followed the first season of the show, the character of Samantha showed up Text messages exchanged with Carrie. We later found out that she had moved to London, and that she no longer had too much contact with her old friends in New York.
In a recent article, variety tells us that Samantha’s character will return in a season 2 episode of That’s it premieres June 22 on HBO. Somehow.
Indeed, according to their information, Kim Cattrall filmed a scene from the series last March in New York where Samantha is on the phone with Carrie. However, she has not spoken or toured with her former colleagues from Sex and the city.
The episode in question should be broadcast during the month of August. We can’t wait to see the inimitable Samantha again, if only for one scene!
