Indiana Jones 5 : a great return to the cinema
After fifteen years of absence, the world’s most famous archaeologist will soon return to the cinema Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. We will find this time the hero embodied by Harrison Ford during the Cold War, in 1969. He will be there dealing with a former Nazi fled to the United States and is now involved in the development of the American space program.
To accompany him in this adventure, we will find in the cast in particular Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones and Boyd Holbrook.
Indiana Jones 5 it will mark Harrison Ford’s last appearance in one of his two most iconic roles. The 80-year-old actor recently gave an interview to Squire to talk about the feature film. In particular he ensured that he wanted it to be his last adventure as Indy “ambitious with character”. And she also told an anecdote about one of the action scenes in the film.

One of the scenes ofIndiana Jones 5 shows the hero launched through the streets of New York on horseback, during the parade celebrating the first moon landing. Harrison Ford revealed that when he finished shooting the scene, he had to recast the stuntmen who tried to help him down:
I looked down and saw these three stuntmen trying to make sure I didn’t fall out of the saddle. They were like, ‘Oh, we were just scared because we were thinking, you know, blah blah blah…’ And I was like, ‘Fuck leave me alone. I’m an old man on horseback, and that’s how I want to look.
Despite his age, the actor doesn’t seem ready to say goodbye to his job. We will soon be able to find it in Lightning AND Captain America 4. He will play Thaddeus Ross, taking over the role previously held by William Hurt. These two films will be released respectively 1um May 2024 AND July 24 of the same year. Meanwhile, Harrison Ford will then be on the billIndiana Jones 5 in a few weeks. James Mangold’s feature film will hit French cinemas next June 28th.
