Dwayne Johnson is back Fast & Furious
For a long time it seemed impossible to see Dwayne Johnson reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in the franchise Fast & Furious. Or at least, certainly not next door Vin Diesel. The two actors had however begun their collaboration with Fast and furious 5 (2011). But Dwayne Johnson decided to leave the Fast Family after that Fast and Furious 8 due to different with Vin Diesel.

The former wrestler was still entitled to a spin-off alongside Jason Statham with Hobbs and Shaw (2019). A film that marked the break with Vin Diesel a little more. And while the two haven’t exchanged roses on social media, time will have ended up mending them. The proof, with the post-credits scene of Fast and furious X who brought Luke Hobbs back to life.
Hobbs, the next film in the saga
This scene was thought to make the connection with Fast and furious 11. But it looks like it’s actually a way to open an upcoming spin-off worn by Dwayne Johnson. The actor announced it on his Twitter account in a message accompanied by a video. After thanking audiences around the world for the positive reactions to his returnthe star said it would therefore be the next film in the saga Hobbs.
The next Fast & Furious film where you will see the legendary lawman will be the HOBBS film which will serve as a new chapter and preparation for FASTX: Part II.
We know that the Fast and furious 11 (OR Fast X: Part II) should come out in 2025. We can therefore expect watch this spin-off for the first time in 2024. This makes sense after a recent statement from Vin Diesel that several spinoff films are in the works.
Finally, in addition to this big news, Dwayne Johnson clarified that with Vin Diesel the hatchet was definitely buried. They would put aside their differences from last summer and now he would be motivated to grow the franchise even further Fast & Furious.
So that will translate into this movie Hobbs (unofficial title), which should just don’t be a sequel toHobbs & Shaw. And if we go from the post-credits scene of Fast and furious Xand on Dwayne Johnson’s words in the video, we can expect his meeting with Jason Momoa be daunting!
