Thor Love and Thunder facing criticism
Released last July Thor: Love and thunder directed by Taika Waititi performed well at the box office. Although with lower results than the previous one, it grossed 761 million dollars at the worldwide box office (against 854 of Thor: Ragnarok published in 2017). However, it didn’t win the support of the public, nor the critics. So come on IMDB extensionthe film has the lowest rating of any feature film released on God of Thunder (averaging 6.2/10, from more than 360,000 reviews).
As a reminder, this fourth variation on Thor (Chris Hemsworth) pits him against the big bad Gorr (Christian Bale) who plans to kill all the gods. To deal with this threat, Thor enlists the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg, and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who, to his surprise, inexplicably wields his mighty hammer, Mjolnir. Together, they embark on a dangerous cosmic adventure to understand the motives of Gorr’s revenge and stop him before it’s too late.

Chris Hemsworth reacts to criticism
As in RagnarokTaika Waititi unleashed the horses in this one Love and thunderwith a debauchery of humor and great nonsense that not everyone liked.
In a recent interview with GQ magazineChris Hemsworth, who plays the character Since 2011, confided to film critics. And includes them in part:
I think we had too much fun. It just got too ridiculous (…) It’s always hard to be in the middle of everything and have a real perspective… I love the process, it’s always an adventure. But you never know how people will react
he has declared.
A father, also remembered the harsh criticism friends of his children, who really didn’t bother:
It’s the eight-year-olds who criticize my film: “We thought it had too much humor, the action was good but the visual effects weren’t up to par.” It was violent and funny at the same time
remembered Chris Hemsworth.
What’s next?
When asked whether or not he wants to reprise his role as Thor, Chris Hemsworth is cautious. He explains that he really enjoyed playing different facets of the character over the years, thanks to the directors who have followed one another, but he doesn’t want to tire the public:
If I were to come back, it would be for something very different (…) otherwise people get tired of these characters and these movies, and just say “oh, I’ve seen that before”
he has declared.
Either way, we will see Chris Hemsworth on our screens very soon as he will be on the bill Tyler Rastrello 2 THE June 16 on Netflix.
