In fact, as reported by 20 minutes on June 7, 2023, production company Newen Studios was contracted by TF1 to explore the idea of ​​a relaunch of the series.

“The decision of this return is not recorded”

Cautious in this matter, TF1’s communication stated that nothing has been done for the moment, thus evoking a “exploratory phase“. For its part, the company Newen Studios said:

“Plus belle la vie” is a very nice brand that we believe in, but nothing has been confirmed to date.

TF1 also communicated that the idea being studied would propose a shorter episode format, of approx 15 minutes. As for the casting, the news was greeted with glee, especially by Serge Dupire, who played Vincent Chaumette. He commented thus:I’m not against the idea of ​​returning to Plus belle la vie, on the contrary. We’ll see what they have to offer. In eighteen years, I’ve been so many characters through the role of Vincent Chaumette, there are always challenges for an actor.”
