When tasked with finding trained fighters who will join her in taking an impossible stand against Homeworld, gather a small group of warriors – foreigners, insurgents, peasants and war orphans from different worlds united by a common need for redemption and revenge.

As the shadow of an entire kingdom approaches the most unlikely moon, a battle takes place for the fate of a galaxy, and a new army of heroes is formed in the process.

A project he has been preparing for 20 years

During the making-of presentation rebel moon at the TUDUM event hosted by Netflix This Sunday, June 18, Zack Snyder said he’s been working on this film for “some time”:

This film, for me, has existed (…) for 20 years. It’s a story of David versus Goliath, of impossible odds, of good versus evil. Now I have the opportunity to tell a story I’ve been thinking about for some time

he has declared.

The scope of the feature film, shot largely in natural settings, is such that Zack Snyder expects it to be compared to Star Wars.
