What is cellular hunger: 4 out of 5 people are overweight because of it

You will be surprised, but many of us feel cell hunger every day – and do not even suspect its existence, or that it is because of this that the stomach protrudes, the number on the scale increases and cellulite becomes more visible.

Hunger is a physiological sensation that is difficult to confuse with anything else. Because of this, fatigue suddenly attacks you, unpleasant cramps appear in the stomach, and all thoughts revolve only around what to eat – and preferably as soon as possible.

Unlike the standard feeling of hunger, cellular hunger overwhelms us even with physical saturation. This condition occurs when we do not monitor the quality of what we eat and the amount of protein, fiber and other nutrients in the meal.

A lunch in a fast food restaurant will relieve you of physical hunger – as well as a bun or a candy bar eaten on the go. However, the cells of the body will not receive the necessary trace elements from such a meal. Instead, the sugar and fast carbs will be digested almost instantly, and soon you’ll want to eat again. It is desirable – again something quick and unnecessary, because over time the body becomes comfortable digesting such food.

Experts call cellular hunger a “silent killer” because it causes weight gain, spikes in blood sugar and serious chronic disease.

At the same time, experts link suppressing cellular hunger with reduced cravings for flour, sweets, and salts — and improved overall well-being. Perhaps these are all excellent arguments to start listening to your feelings more often and try to take a step closer to a balanced diet.
