Through my window 2 : It gets complicated for Raquel and Ares
Netflix presented on June 23, 2023 Through my window 2, the sequel to the torrid love story between Raquel (Clara Galle) and Ares (Julio Peña). A Spanish-language production based on the novels of Venezuelan Ariana Godoy. By the end of the first work, the couple was about to live a milestone in their relationship. Ares goes abroad for his studies and Raquel prepares to go back to her university.
Let’s find the two protagonists again during this complicated year. Their long distance relationship it is clearly difficult, especially for Ares who seems to regret his choice the most. Raquel is concentrating on work in hopes of publishing her first novel. But fortunately summer and holidays are coming. We follow the two lovers, with their friends, who intend to take advantage of the summer to relax and enjoy carnal pleasures. But drama is never far away. The arrival of Vera (Andrea Chaparro), a friend from Ares’ school, gently creates a rift between the boy and Raquel who suspects him of having betrayed her. Their breakup therefore seems inevitable at the end of the film, further marked by a terrible tragedy that especially annoyed viewers.

A final scene shows Raquel discovering an email that is important to her future. Her friend Yoshi (Guilermo Lasheras) secretly sent her manuscript to a publishing house who then said he was ready to publish his novel. Great news for the young girl, and one last symbolic gift by Yoshi.
But the saga Through my window won’t stop there since thena third movie is announced just before the end credits. Not a huge surprise considering Ariana Godoy has written a trilogy. Netflix had yet to confirm her willingness to go through with it. So it will be, and from 2024!
It was right on his Instagram account that the platform announced the good news, even before the second chapter was put online. We also learn thisThrough my window 3 will have a French title Eye for an eye. It is not yet known exactly when in 2024 the feature film will be available.
