Because even if the situation had improved at the end of 2021, admissions to cinemas were still much lower than before Covid. We had to wait until December 2021 with Spider-Man: There’s no way back home to see a blockbuster post impressive numbers.
That said, Sony Pictures was quick to confirm production of Poison 3. It must be said that the previous work ended with a very important post-credits scene.
