Robert Englund, interpreter of Victor Creel in Stranger Things, gave some spoilers about the fourth season – and got a scolding for it

the fourth season of Stranger Things had a delay due to the covid-19 pandemic. With that, fans had time to create theories — which made Robert Englundinterpreter of Victor Creel in its older version, revealed a spoiler by accident.
In an interview with The Guardian, Englund explained that when asked by fans about specific theories, he assumed the information had already been made public. So, accidentally, he gave some spoilers about season four — and got a scolding from the producers for it.
“This season is an homage to ’80s horror. I think it’s their scariest season. I arrive around episode four. When covid hit, I was doing some personal appearances and some fans of Stranger Things were asking me such specific questions that I assumed other actors had already talked about it. So I got my hands slapped for that.” Englund

The main characters of the third season are back – but more grown up. Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Hopper (David Harbour), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steve (Joe Keery) and more are present.
The fourth season arrives in the catalog of Netflix in two blocks: the first debuted on May 27, and the second will be released on July 1. According to the streaming platform’s official synopsis: “It is not all good news for our ‘American’; he is stranded far from home in the snowy desert of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and others.”
