I love our regular set, I love our cast, I love our crew, who all feel like home to me. But even so, it was like having a dinner with different people who brought a different energy, and certainly the energy that these foreign actors brought was incredible. I was nervous that the celebrity type itself [de cada um] it might distract from the story, but they were all so committed, so in the service of the story and so humble.

“For that scene at the dinner table [quando Mikey joga talheres no tio Lee]they would say ‘cut’ and everyone would kind of sit there in silence for a few minutes because it was so problematic and twisted and just plain ugly, what was going on,” continued Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Right away, Moss-Bachrach explained how, personally, he likes to rest and change the temperature between takes, in order to cope and maintain a very high level of emotion and energy. That is, he can get tired and no longer able to act the way he intends.
