In the post-pandemic period, pixar got featured in oscar with soul (2020), but the iconic animation studio faced several box office failures as audiences returned to theaters, such as Lightyear (2022) and the newly released Elements (2023).

In an article to understand this decadence of the disney, Variety talked to some market experts. It’s worth remembering how the company invests at least US$ 200 million in the films, since most of these projects used to raise US$ 1 billion easily.
