As showrunner Eric Kripke has said, The Boys season 3 adapts the Herogasm arc, which features ‘sex in all different ways’
One of the first information about the 3rd season of the boys was the adaptation of the bow herogasman event in the comics Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson in which the “heroes” pretend to go on a secret mission, but go on an orgy full of superpowered beings. Erin Moriartyinterpreter of starlighttalked about what it was like filming this.
“It’s been five days in a row [de filmagens]more than 12 hours a day, well over 12 hours, just surrounded by nudity,” said the actress in an interview with SlashFilm. “It was pretty wild. I’ve never been in a room with so many vibrators, so many sex toys, so much nudity, so much simultaneous sex in all different ways.”
“I had to do a scene with a character where I’m talking to him and he’s totally naked,” he added. “So I tried to keep eye contact with him because that was day one and I was still getting used to working with so many naked people… My favorite part was watching the director of this episode, Nelson Craggwho was so cool, responsible for commanding people in the background simulating sex.”
Erin Moriarty also explained how Cragg became “a porn director” at that point: “And the things he would tell them to get to simulate sex. Watching that, seeing him yell ‘cut’ and shake his head like, ‘What am I doing?’ But it was amazing and hilarious and terrifying at the same time.”

third season of the boys (2019) premiered last Friday, 3rd, and brought a reference that fans of Marvel probably loved to see when playing with the possibility of Ant Man enter into Thanos to defeat him in Avengers: Endgame(2019).
At the time of the movie’s release, this was one of the more comical theories about how the heroes would defeat the villain and the boysshowed how this would be possible. In the very first episode, Termitea kind of Ant Man from the show’s universe, shrinks to fit a partner’s penis, but accidentally returns to normal size when sneezing, causing the organ to explode.
series creator, Eric Kripke confirmed that the moment was inspired by the meme of Marvel in an interview with the website polygon (via Omelet). “There was this meme, ‘why Ant Man don’t get in the ass Thanos and blow it up?’ So we decided to give it to the public, because we can. And the Marvel just can’t,” he joked.
Furthermore, krypke revealed that a six-meter-long, 3.4-meter-tall penis was built to film the scene. “My favorite detail about this scene is that the penis was practically made. So when he goes into that hole, that’s what’s happening,” he said.
