Charlie Heaton clarified the mystery of Jonathan’s few scenes in the new season of Stranger Things
the fourth season of Stranger Things (2016) premiered on Netflix in May and has become one of the most talked about topics on social media in recent weeks. Among the topics debated by fans is the fact that some main characters are left out by the plot of the new episodes.
Among those who have appeared less this season is Jonathan Byersplayed by Charlie Heaton. The actor has played an important role in recent seasons, helping to save his brother and Hawkins several times. However, when he moved to California, it seems that his importance to the plot became less and less.
“Then, Will, Mike and Jonathan, where are you? The writers were busy adding new characters that they forgot to involve the old ones, the ones that were supposed to be the important ones,” wrote one user (via Cosmopolitan). In an interview with QA, heaton replied what happened to jonathan:
“It’s a big cast, obviously every season they’ve brought new characters, wonderful characters, and taken the story to different places. Hawkins’ storyline this year is in a kind of vibe The nightmare time. It’s really exciting to see the show go in that direction.”
by the answer of heatonthere are no plans to decrease the participation of jonathan, the series just seems to try to focus on other characters and plots. However, there are still two episodes left to wrap up the season and things could change between then. part two of Stranger Things arrives on July 1st at Netflix.
