Composed by Nahuel and his musical partner León Cuye“Regresa” is a song of nostalgiaIt’s a ransom demand, a truce. To contrast with the melancholy of the lyrics, they musically sought to reproduce the joy typical of Santa Fe cumbia.
“The song was born as a ballad and little by little, by incorporating the guitar and the keyboard, we started to think of a cumbia. It’s inspired by the stories of different friends going through times of heartbreak,” Nahuel explained.
“Come back”, moreover, is the first collaboration between Nahuel and Lucianotwo great artists established in the folk scene, who broke the barriers of the genre and who, with their music, achieved great popularity and made all of Argentina and Latin America dance and move.
“Recording with Luciano was a huge experience, he was always very open to listen and suggest, to achieve the best possible song. I am grateful for his generosity and his talent, we shared beautiful days,” Pennisi added.
