Death of Wahid Bouzidi
The French comedy scene is in mourning. Hospitalized in Marrakech and in a coma since August 16, victim of a new stroke, actor and comedian Wahid Bouzidi died on August 20, 2023 at the age of 45. Revealed by the Jamel Comedy Club, of which he was an iconic character in the series in 2009 Inside the Jamel Comedy ClubWahid Bouzidi had since flourished on stage and in several films.

He could be seen regularly on television, appearing on entertainment shows, and was cast in an episode of the series Captain Marleau in 2017.
“I realized that we are just passing through”
Of failing health, Wahid Bouzidi had suffered a stroke in 2021. An accident he overcame, returning to the draws three months later. The stage was his passionas he later declared in the columns of Atlas Courier :
The doctors kept telling me I would never go back on stage again. And a week ago I presented my show! Staying on stage for hours is revenge. So I definitely won’t complain. I understood that we are just passing through, that we just have to enjoy life. (…) I’m in my element when I’m in front of an audience. With all the love I get from him, it’s normal. All this love, it’s just beautiful. We are like a big family.
The sad news was made public by his family on his Facebook account, relaunched by his relatives who paid homage to him on social media.
