Freelance : John Cena returns to service
After The suicide squad, FastX OR X-Traction projectJohn Cena continues in beefy entertainment with Freelance. In this action comedy directed by Pierre Morel (Taken, Armed man), the famous wrestler lends his appearance to a former special forces soldier who struggles to lead a peaceful life. When he is offered to provide security for a reporter (Alison Brie) traveling to interview a South American dictator (Juan Pablo Raba), hesitates to return to service but ends up accepting for the handsome salary at stake.
The veteran isn’t disappointed with the move. The trio find each other very quickly ambushed in the middle of the jungle and the soldier has no choice but to take up arms again. In addition to having to learn to support each other in the great outdoors, the journalist, the president and the ex-soldier will face a horde of enemies. A classic postulate but which promises fun and explosive action scenes, as the trailer reveals. In the light of these first images, Freelance it obviously also relies on the chemistry between its three actors, failing to deliver a very original show.
Netflix: This action film with John Cena and Jackie Chan is a success despite the murderous reviews
Christian Slater, Alice Eve and Marton Csokas complete the cast of the feature film. Freelance does not yet have a release date In France. While waiting to find out more, find the trailer at the top of the article.
