With influences from the 90s and a modern alternative, &Y presents “Intoxicarme”, their third single.
The song comes after “Dejarlo Todo” and “Azul” and evokes the concept of detachment, understanding that leaving behind also involves experiencing a moment of mourning.
The song incorporates elements of synth pop and house musicand gives it a twist towards the alt rock essence that characterizes the &Y project.
It also conveys a nostalgic air, but at the same time there is something encouraging, hopeful. As if the light at the end of the tunnel was very close, thanks to the superimposition of the lyrics, with their melodies and counter-melodies, and all to a hyper danceable and cool rhythm.
&Y is a minimalist project, with futuristic characteristics, which seeks to innovate and propose from a technical-aesthetic point of view without losing sensitivity. The proposal is strongly based on the use of light and its refraction as a resource, thus generating an aesthetic line that is transported both in shows and in audiovisual content.
This is the new musical project of the guitarist from Limónwhich stands out for mixing electronic, pop, ambient and R&B sounds with an essence of alternative rock.
Finally, “Intoxicarme” is accompanied by a video directed by Juan Manuel Pinzón (Nicki Nicole, Tiago PZK, Louta and El Zar, among others).
