The Motion Picture and Television Foundation is gearing up for the centennial toast on June 18 with an all-star celebration at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood.

The event, part of the organization’s 100th anniversary celebration, will be held as “100 Years in Hollywood: A Celebration of Service” and will be an evening of performances, tributes and storytelling, signs the MPTF. The “House” of the evening will be named an Honorary Service Award, a special presentation of the silver medallion for Marilyn and Jeffrey Katsenbergs. The Katsenbergs were longtime champions of the MPTF, as the mogul spent more than three decades on various boards (including the board of directors and governors) that served to raise hundreds of millions of dollars.

While it’s easy to see what they’ve done by donating time and millions to help attract red carpets like Night Before parties, Jeffrey’s behind-the-scenes work has been equally fruitful in strategizing and recruiting to bring experts into the MPTF. . He announced last June that he would resign from the organization.
