After Philip K. Dick’s story published in 1956, Minority report was released in theaters in 2002. Its plot is set in 2054, in a dystopian world. Society has found an effective way to fight crime: three mutant humans can predict themand accurately provide the names of the victims and killer, as well as the time of the crime. All they have to do is pass them to John Anderton, the head of the unit tasked with stopping these murders before they happen. But one day the three mutants tell himhe will commit a crime himself…
Directed by Steven Spielberg and worn by Tom Cruise, Minority report was greeted with a nice welcome upon arriving in the rooms. Over the years the feature film has even become a science fiction classic. Thirteen years later, a series followed. And now we learn ita new project on the same story will soon see the light.

As reported Digital spya new adaptation of Minority report is in preparation. This time, the subject will be the story imagined by Philip K. Dicka show in England. David Haig was responsible for writing this new adaptation. The direction was entrusted to Max Webster.
For this new version of Minority reportthe plot will be slightly different from that of the book and the film. This time the action will take place in Londonin 2050. And this is a woman who will be the central character. Her name will be Julia Anderton, and she will be a neurosurgeon. According to the official synopsis, she will be about to launch a new phase of her program tasked with identifying killers in advance when she finds herself accused by her own system.
See you in England in 2024
The new adaptation of Minority report will arrive on the English scene in 2024. It will be shown first at the Nottingham Playhouse, from 16 February to 9 March. So it will move untilat the Birmingham Repertory Theater from 22 March to 16 April. Finally there are the spectators of the Lyric Hammersmith, London, who will be able to see it from April 19th to May 18th.
In the comments reported by The GuardianRachel O’Riordan, artistic director of the Lyric Hammersmith, assures that the piece will be used “the most developed technology” for its visual effects and ambitious design. Words that therefore promise us a visually impressive piece.
