Manu Hattom imagines a “Romantic date” with The Idiot Prince

Manu Hattom returns with “Cita Romántica”, a romantic rock ballad in his new single with El Príncipe Idiota and announces a show at La Tangente. How are you?

The history of “Cita Romántica” dates back to the beginnings of Manu Hattom, in the western suburbs of Buenos Aires. During his adolescence, he met Lío Domínguez, a cult poet with whom they quickly became friends.

During these years, Lío composed this youth love song, which Manu appreciated enough to record his own version in the tone of a rock ballad. To give it the final touch, he invited Mariano di Cesare, better known by his alter ego The Idiot Prince (My Invincible Friend), to add a freestyle.

“Mariano and I have known each other for 10 years. We always meet in concert halls and we have a unique bond there. On different occasions he invited me to open different Mi Amigo Invencible shows, in Buenos Aires, Santa Fe and Mendoza. “We always wanted to do something together and I thought this rock ballad was for him,” he said.

This 2023 marks a decade since the debut of Manu Hattom’s solo project, which will be duly celebrated next December 28 at La Tangente, with a show where he will review the most sung songs from his discography. And for which tickets are already on sale.
