The cast consists of Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi, but alsoIdris Elba as Marshall Stacker Pentecost. This is precisely the character that Tom Cruise would have embodied. Guillermo del Toro explained it during the tackle Pacific Rim, which was a grueling shoot for him, was seriously considering the actor.
