Storm and hazardous water warnings for Aquaman 2, a big piece of the year for the DCEU as it sees its horizon darken even further. With already the acquisition of DC studios by James Gunn and David Safran and a completely new plan for Warner Bros. superhero franchises, a production splashed by the highly publicized trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heardand now the disclosure of the documents used during this trial, the turn of events does not bode well for James Wan’s new film.
In fact, according to information from Varietyfans of Depp’s Johnny would have paid for access to it notes from Amber Heard’s therapistDr. Dawn Hugues, made available to the courts during the famous defamation trial between the actress and her ex-husband.
In these notes, considered authentic by the magistrates of the trial but which are therefore unique Amber Heard’s version and words about her experience filmingAquaman 2several reports of surprising behavior have been noted.
As for Jason Momoa, protagonist and protagonist of the filmit is transcribed as follows in these notes, written in the first person:
Jason said he wanted me to quit. Jason was drunk, he was late for the set. He was dressed like Johnny, even with all these rings.
Other notes would indicate that director James Wan would not be thereno support for Amber Heard and they would isolate her, due to her highly publicized legal situation.

An estrangement and the desire to separate from Amber Heard which would be part of a continuity, as confirmed by Variety sources according to whom Amber Heard had been on the verge of being fired before the production of the film.Aquaman 2. Not as part of the trial with Johnny Depp, but afterwards “the absence of alchemy” between Jason Momoa and Amber Heard noticed by the studios and James Wan at the end of the first film released in 2018, i.e. before Johnny Depp’s defamation complaint.

Elon Musk did not respond to Variety’s request for comment. Neither representatives of Jason Momoa, Amber Heard nor James Wan have yet to comment on the disclosure of these notes. But a DC spokesperson commented on his accusations and brought the contradiction to the defense of the personalities involved in these notes.
Jason Momoa always behaved professionally during the filming of “Aquaman 2″. (…) James Wan is known for the great respect he shows towards the cast and crew and for the positive environment he creates on set. The ‘Aquaman’ films were no exception.”
A source present at the 2021 London shoot indicated that Jason Momoa and Amber Heard seemed to get along well on set and said: “Jason works a lot and likes everyone to have a beer every now and then, but he doesn’t show up on set drunk. And he doesn’t dress like Johnny Depp, he’s always had this bohemian style.“
The official reactions could arrive very soon from the representatives of the various subjects involved in this latest twist in question Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. A film for which DC studios and Warner Bros. are still considering a box office performance. Before, perhaps, definitively close this chapter and move on to a whole new DCEU…
